Blog

The musings of a tired, manic, insanity driven writer who hasn’t had enough caffeine, or too much. It’ll depend on the day.

Anyway! Here’s where I’ll keep you updated on all things writing and maybe some funny stories along the way!

Day 1 of CampNaNoWriMo has been interesting. Between working and running around the dog park with two energetic dogs, I still managed to meet my goal for today! It’s been raining in my part of the world lately, so of course the dog park was filled with lovely looking puddles that turned my beautiful tri-coloured pups a muddy brown. They had the time of their lives, until we got them home and showered them. Then they looked at us like we’d just taken away their favourite toy. The joys!

See you tomorrow!

Day 2 saw a pretty terrible day. Between a migraine and a split shift at work (yay! School Holidays! Jk…), I got some words down. I honestly don’t want to look at them because I’m scared they won’t make sense at all. Oh well, thems the breaks! All my puppies wanted to do in my short break was snuggle and breathe in my face, so that was fun! No muddy puddles today, thank heavens. But, who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Day 3. It’s supposed to be my day off, but my body doesn’t like that word. So I’ve been running around town like a chicken with her head cut off; trying to get myself better mentally, physically and emotionally. I went for a run (dear God 🤪 there is something very wrong with me) at six this morning with the dogs. Safe to say they were happy to come back to a heated home.

I’m home for a little bit, so I’m hoping to write some words and get the imagination flowing. I can’t wait to start sharing my WIP, but I haven’t written enough to even think about it.

Come back later for my word count! 😘😘😘

I was just glad to have the foresight to put a towel in the backseat of the car! They both smell nice and clean now though, so that’s a plus!
